The City is currently looking for residents who may be interested in joining the Park Board or Planning Commission. These groups serve as advisory boards and make recommendations to the City Council. The Park Board reviews current and future community park and recreation needs, programs and facilities, and recommend action to promote the implementation of the City’s park, trail, and recreation programs. The Planning Commission reviews requests and applications to ensure compliance with the City’s land use regulations and comprehensive plan.
