The City of Waconia's winter parking regulations are effective November 1, 2022. Parking is not allowed on any City street between the hours of midnight and 8:00 a.m. during the period of November 1 through April 1. Winter parking restrictions apply to all areas of the community except the general and central business zoning districts and all industrial zoning districts where parking is prohibited between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. all year. To arrange for special circumstances (overnight guests, parties, etc.), please contact Carver County Sheriff's Dispatch at 952-361-1231 along with an email to publicservices@waconia.org on the same day to request special consideration. Permission may be granted at the sole discretion of the Carver County Sheriff's Department.
