The 2040 Comprehensive Plan was approved by the City Council and sent to the Metropolitan Council at the end of March. Until the plan is formally approved by the Metropolitan Council and adopted by the City of Waconia, which we anticipate to happen in the fall of 2019, the City will continue to work under the 2030 Comprehensive Plan.
