Downtown Reconstruction The reconstruction of Phase 3 of the Downtown Reconstruction project began April 21. This project (Phase 3) is planned to consist of the full reconstruction of the street, utilities, and storm sewer for 2 blocks of First Street, 1 block of Elm Street, and 1½ blocks of 2nd Street.

County Road 10 and Waconia Parkway North Roundabout This project consists of construction of roundabout at CR 10/Waconia Parkway North intersection, pavement rehabilitation of Highway 10 between Highway 30 and Waconia Parkway South, and pavement rehabilitation of Waconia Parkway North pavement between proposed roundabout limits and Scott Lane.

Highway 10/Waconia Parkway North Improvements
Set for construction between June and August 2025, this project involves the construction of a roundabout at the CR 10/Waconia Parkway North intersection, along with pavement rehabilitation and trail connections. The improvements aim to enhance intersection safety, traffic flow, and ride quality.
2025 Mill and Overlay Projects The City Council has approved moving forward with the first phase of our Pavement Management Plan to invest in better, longer-lasting roads. Based on pavement condition data collected from a 2024 pavement condition rating contract and staff evaluations, the Sterling Hills and Sierra neighborhoods are recommended for mill and overlays in 2025.
