During seasonal snow events the Waconia "Plow Patrol" is out for approximately 6-8 hours to complete their stage 1 routes this includes:
- main emergency roads
- collector streets for commuting
- single plow lanes into neighborhood side streets
After completion they will be off the roads for a rest period. The crew will then go back out early the next morning to complete stage 2. This includes:
- completing side streets
- alleys
- parking lots
- final storm clean up
