Seal coating street maintenance activities are scheduled to begin on May 28th on Waconia Parkway S, Oak Avenue and portions of Dunsmore Drive and Woodlawn Circle. This maintenance effort includes the application of an oil binder product to the street surface with chip rock placed over the top. The City’s contractor will post the affected streets as “no parking” 24 hours in advance of the work commencing. Equipment noise, dust, and minor traffic impacts should be expected, motorists are asked to travel with care through the work z zone. Work areas will be swept multiple times following application to pick up loose chip rock material.
